How To Hide Local Disk Drive's from Computer Without Any Software

In our computer system, there are number of local disk drives to store the data according to the requirement or choice of user. Local Disk Drives like "Local Disk(C:) , Local Disk(E:)" or some names like "Setups(D:) , Kulwinder(E:) , etc; ".
In general, there are many softwares on the internet to hide the local disk of a computer or laptop. But there are some software are not work properly or not compatible with operating system so don't worry if your software is not working. I have a another method to hide local disk without software. Here i am going to hide the local disk drives with "Command Prompt  " with some commands which are very simple commands and "Command Prompt  " is available in very computer system and here no need of any software to run it . Hiding the local disk also becomes necessary, because we all have very little personal data such as pictures, videos, movies, etc., which we do not want to show in our local computer's local disks due to privacy. So we can hide all those local disk drives. Most people probably do not know how to hide these disk drives manually without using softwares.
For this you just have to use the simple trick given below, and then in a few seconds you will be able to hide local disk drives without any software and whenever we need it, you will be able to access that drive later.

Step for hide the local disk :

First step, go to 'Start', then click on 'Run' or press "Window button + R" . Now a Run box has opened on your computer screen and now type 'Diskpart' in Run box.

Second step, Now you will see that a new window of "command prompt" has opened. Type 'list volume' in this window, then you will be able to see all the available drives in the system. These drives look like this:

volume         ltr     lable       fs       type     size     status   info
---------        ---     -----        --         -----     -----     -------     -----

Third step, Type 'select volume 3'( you select that volume which you wanna to hide "here i am going to hide the volume 3 so i type select volume 3") and press 'Enter'.

Fourth step, Now type 'remove letter E'( you remove that letter which is matching of your selected volume "here i have letter K is matching with volume 3 so i type remove letter E") and press 'enter' again.

Just now you can go to My Computer and see that the E drive is hidden.

[Note: Check this thing properly to see which volume is matching with which Ltr in your system, such as Volume 2 for D drive in the photo]

Now, If you wanna to unhide you local disk drive so without last step there is no difference in steps. so here i am going to explain how to unhide local disk drive step by step:

Step for Unhide the local disk :

First step, go to 'Start', then click on 'Run' or press "Window button + R" . Now a Run box has opened on your computer screen and now type 'Diskpart' in Run box.

Second step, Now you will see that a new window has opened. Type 'list volume' in this window, then you will be able to see all the available drives in the system. These drives look like this:

volume    ltr     lable       fs         type     size     status     info
---------        ---     -----        --         -----     -----     -------     -----

Third step, Type 'select volume 3'( you select that volume which you wanna to unhide "here i am going to unhide the volume 3 so i type select volume 3") and press 'Enter'.

Fourth step, This step in unhide is different than hide. Now type 'assign letter e'( you assign that letter which is matching of your selected volume "here i have letter K is matching with volume 3 so i type assign letter E") and press 'Enter' again.

Just go to My Computer now and you will see that the E drive has been unHidden, it means that your hidden drive has started to appear again.
